Kurzfassung: This thesis presents the development of a virtual tool for the prediction of the removal temperature of a sheet at the end of a press hardening process. For this purpose, thermal parameters, including those defining the cooling behavior, are analyzed and their sensitivities investigated. The relevant parameter values are identified using two experimental methods and introduced into the simulation model. A metamodel was created using the numerical simulation and validated with help of a production related experiment, resulting in an excellent approximation of the measured values over the complete span of significant amount of parameter variations, proving that the newly developed metamodel has an extraordinary potential for the practical usage.
